You may be following the footsteps of great Himalayan explorers like Hillary and Tenzing but, yet trekking in Nepal is neither a strenuous climbing nor an experience of wilderness. Most of the trails follow between 500 to 3000 meters and asses through the cultivated landscapes and dense settlements, which gives you a glimpse of the Nepalese people, traditional hospitality and fascinating culture. Hence trek in Nepal is a special kind of mountain holiday like in any other part of the world. Of course for most adventurous people there are lots of Himalayan peaks that are among the highest in the world.
