Mt. Everest
Nepal first came into world focus when Tenzing Norgay Sherpa of Nepal and Sir Edmund Hillary of New Zealand conquered Mt. Everest in 1953. Ever since, there have been countless expeditions heading off to the Himalayas.
Mt. Cho Oyu
Cho Oyu is the sixth highest mountain in the world at 8201 m. above sea level. Cho Oyu lies in the Himalayas and is 20 km west of Mount Everest, at the border between Tibet and Nepal. Cho Oyu means "Turquoise Goddess" in Tibetan.
Mt. Amadablam
Mt. Ama Dablam is located in the Khumbu region of eastern part Nepal. The main peak is 6,812 metres (22,349 ft), the lower western peak is 5,563 metres (18,251 ft).
Mt. Manaslu
Manaslu, also known as Kutang is the eighth highest mountain in the world, and is located in the Mansiri Himal, part of the Nepalese Himalayas, in the west-central part of Nepal. I
